Ulrich Metz & Michael Gienger

Ulrich Metz was born with an immense creative streak. Over the last fifteen years, before developing the Joya® massage method, Ulrich worked as a sculptor, using and combining materials in a way that reflects a highly developed feel for sensory opposites. Glass and metal, wood and stone, bone and metal, bronze and marble – there are very few materials available to sculptors that Ulrich has not explored and combined.

Ulrich Metz lived in South Africa from 1995 to 1996 and there deepened his knowledge and sensitivity for the connections between humans.
