Trust the Angels

Trust the Angels

by Diana Cooper

Angels are constantly around you, whispering to you, enfolding you in their wings and sweeping you towards your highest destiny. When you surrender to this your life flows. And when you resist this spiritual current, your life becomes difficult for you are swimming against the tide. When a strong feeling comes over you to speak or act in a certain way, or when you suddenly clearly know something, you are open to the angelic communications. We call this intuition.

A few years ago I responded to one such deep knowing. I let my home and went to Australia, where I traveled for six months. One day I woke up totally knowing that I had to do this. I knew no one in Australia. I had never had any desire to go there and it certainly did not make sense financially. But I have learnt to follow these strong inner prompting. So I went.

I had a wonderful experience where I traveled from one end of the country to the other and had an adventure beyond my wildest dreams. I now have friends throughout Australia and completely fell in love with the country. My greatest learning was to trust the angels. Every single time I took charge and booked accommodation or travel ahead, it had to be canceled. At the last minute someone would invite me to stay in their home or drive me where I wanted to go. The wondrous thing to me is that every single person I met worked with the angelic forces. Even when I did stay in a hotel, the owners would be people who believed in angels. There was one exception. This was when I insisted on undertaking a three week camping trip from north to south through the red center in the hot season!! I set my heart and mind on doing this trip. Nothing went smoothly with the organization, which indicated that my ego was battling against my spiritual direction but of course, the angels would not interfere with my free will. The trip was tough. The other participants were not like minded. Yet I would not have missed it for worlds. I continued to ask the angels for help, and they eased my journey in big ways and small. I was the only one not rained out of

my tent during a freak storm at Uluru. When impassable floods stopped us from reaching Darwin on Christmas Eve, I silently called on their help and a plane diverted to fly us! So while I have always said the words, ???Let Go and Let God??? I have often struggled to do things my way. In Australia the angels really taught me to trust.

The divine wish for you is that you are totally happy, satisfied, fulfilled and receive all that your heart desires. The angelic task is to help bring this about for you. Most of us are like the child with a broken toy. He wants his Dad to mend it but refuses to let it go. As soon as the child hands it over, his Dad can take it away and put it right or give the child something more appropriate. When you offer a prayer, you are telling God what you want. The angels rush into place to help bring it to you if it is for your highest good. But if you continue to worry and do what you think is right, you are holding onto the broken toy. The angelic forces can do nothing to bring about your heart???s desire.

Angels are constantly offering us comfort, support and help. Our task is to let go of our desire, then relax and receive their love. A lady told me what happened to her recently when her premature baby was in an incubator, dying. There had been three crises and now the doctors said she could not pull through. As she sat by the incubator with her little daughter, she offered the baby to God to do whatever was best for the child. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. No one was about and she knew it was an angel. Immediately she felt better. At the same moment her husband, who was at home looking after their son, walked into the kitchen. There he found his young son seemingly talking to himself. The boy turned to his father with shining eyes. ???Dad, I was talking to the angels. Everything is going to be OK. She???ll be fine.??? From that minute they knew the little girl would live. And she did.

They say you don???t have to believe in angels. They believe in you no matter what. Whatever you do, say or think, nothing can stop your angels from loving you. Nothing you do, say or think can prevent them from whispering encouragement and hope to you. The only time they do not enfold and support you is when you push them away or are determined to do something your own way. Then they must stand back and let you experience the hard way.

Right until the very last breath they are with you. Then they guide you to the next step of your journey. Anne told me that her mother did not believe in angels or anything spiritual. She was terrified of dying. Then on her death bed she called Anne to her. ???Can you hear the angels singing???, she whispered. ???It???s an orchestra.??? Her face was alight with joy. All the fear and pain of death instantly left her. She died in peace.

Exercise in trusting your angels

Decide on something you want.

Be prepared to let it go if it is not for the highest good.

Be open to receiving something better instead.

Sit quietly and breathe deeply until you feel relaxed

Mentally tell your angel what you would like.

Visualize yourself handing this over to your angel.

Thank your angel.

Totally trust that your angel will bring you this or something better.

Let it go completely. You do this by not talking about it or thinking about it.

Do nothing until the prompting of your intuition tells you it is time for action.
