There is nothing more annoying than watching a parent being plagued by a whining, demanding child. If you demand from your angel for your desires to be met from neediness, frustration or greed, this comes from ego. Your inner child is clamouring while your wise aspect is asleep. Your angel will not help as she can only act for your highest good.

When you ask from ego you are not ready to change.

A master stands in his power. This means he takes his own decisions and is not influenced by others. He will listen to advice, consider it and make up his own mind. A master never acts merely to please another. He knows that if something is not for his own highest good, it certainly will not help the other person. You cannot give responsibility for your life to anyone, incarnate or discarnate. You cannot hand your power to the angels! The purpose of taking a body is to experience this physical plane with all the decisions and choices that involves. So you cannot expect your angel to live your life for you. In fact angels experience the physical plane through us. They grow as we grow.

You are one hundred percent responsible for all that happens to you, created by the choices of your soul, by karma or by your thoughts and actions.

Having so said, humans were never meant to walk alone. It is abnormal to be out of touch with God and the angels. The normal is to be connected to their love and illumination, which you can only do from a centred space. When you sit quietly, take decisions and then ask calmly, you are in your power. Your angel can help you, for you are ready to use their assistance with integrity.

It is also fine to ask your angels for guidance and then watch for the signs. Apply discernment, intuition, common sense and wisdom to the signs that are presented. Then you can take decisions and ask the Angelic Hierarchy to help you implement them.

Because we walk in the dark on Earth, the Beings of Light can assist you by illuminating your path. They will bring you the synchronicities, unexpected meetings and ???lucky??? breaks. They will open doors and smooth your path.

We may have to surrender attachment to a person or outcome before angels can help. Attachment binds us to a situation, so our ego gets in the way and clouds our higher perception. It is only when we give up our will and surrender our desire, that the angels can step in and help us. Often they can then bring us what we wanted all along.

There is a solution to every problem. The situation is held at a low frequency. The highest possible outcome resonates at a higher one. Fear or our desire for a particular outcome binds us to the problem. When we let go, ask the angels for help and remain open for their guidance, then something new can happen.

James was in love with Samantha. She had left him. He thought about her all the time and wanted her back. He told me he could not live without her. In other words he was attached to his idea of an outcome. He constantly pleaded with the angels for help to bring her back and was angry they did not respond to his demands. At a seminar a few weeks later, he realised he was attached to his way and must let go. During a meditation Archangel Michael cut all the cords between him and Samantha. It was emotionally painful but now James??? tears were those of release rather than those of frustration. On the second day of the workshop he met his future wife.

The following story is an example of asking the angels for help while holding onto your power. My friend, Grahame, visited me one afternoon. He told me that he was going to have to move from his apartment as he could no longer afford the rent. He intended to phone the agents the following day to give them notice. I asked him what he could afford and he named a small amount that would just about rent a cupboard. I asked him if he had handed the problem to the angels and he said that he hadn't. It is really helpful to have two or three people hold your vision with you. If you start to doubt, their strength maintains your faith. The same principle applies when you hand a problem over to the angels. So I offered to do it with him and hold the focus. He told the angels his problem and handed it over. I reminded him to listen to any intuitive flashes, which came to him.

He phoned me a few days later and said that he had had an intuition to phone the landlady and tell her he would be leaving. He felt it was a courtesy as she had been very good to him. She asked him why and he told her that he really could not afford it any longer. She asked what he could pay and he named the meagre rent he was able to offer. She phoned him back half an hour later and said that she too had had financial difficulties when she was young. He had been a good tenant and she liked him. He could have the flat for eight months at that rent and then they would talk again.

Grahame asked for help, listened to his intuition, which is the whispering of the angels and then took action. If he had not done this, he would have given notice to the agents next day and would have been reduced to living in a tiny room. Angels literally work miracles when we stay in our power.

Exercise

• 1. List the details of your problem.
• 2. Sit quietly in meditation and ask Archangel Michael to cut away any attachments to attitudes, ideas, people or situations which may be holding you back.
• 3. Ask the angels for a sign, which will help you resolve a problem.
• 4. For the next few days stay open and watchful for any signal which comes to you. Listen to your intuition.
• 5. Take a decision.
• 6. Act on it, expecting the angels to open doors for you.
• 7. When synchronicities occur and door open, you know you have got it right.
