2012 & Beyond a ReviewDiana Cooper has filled in the gap of doom and gloom books about the upcoming date of 2012, with a book full of hope and joy. I don't believe that all the good people are going to be taken up in a wondrous rapture while the rest of us wonder where they went. No, I think the day will go by just like any other day. What happens to us on our fragile little planet up to us. If we pollute ourselves to death, it will be our fault. Cooper fills us on some of the spiritual reasons for the date, and some concrete things to do to make this a better world. I'm not even sure I would label this book 'new age'. It's a spiritual book and what Cooper is trying to say is that if we live with an eye on spiritual rewards instead of material rewards, we can make our world a paradise and our generation through the timing of the heavens, has that chance. Will we waste that chance fighting or will be realize we are all one and connect to our earth and each other to make this heaven on Earth? Who knows? It's really up to us. And I say to that, what was God thinking? — Robin Landry, author of When I dream |
