This book is dedicated to the feminine principle within our culture and within the soul of each human being. Its aim is to open ways for us to reconnect with the Divine feminine in all facets of its existence, whether those are in our personal life, our cultural history, the animal kingdom or the sacred dimensions of the landscape.

The author shows us a palette of our human relationships with the Mother Earth, the Threefold Goddess and the Black Virgin, and describes the persistent re-appearance of these archetypes in human history from the Stone Age till today. The book concentrates on his insights of the Divine feminine, who is searching right now for a new way to contact humanity. This is the phenomenon that he calls 'The rebirth of Gaia'. He also pays much attention to the human soul aspect, to the structure of landscape temples and how they appeared worldwide, and the relationship between the Virgin and the group souls of different animals.

The book is composed of the author's personal experiences of the Goddess revelations that he experienced in 1980, 1990 and 2000. The narrative is interwoven with relevant exercises, which the reader can test immediately without having to wait or move. For ease of reference and later use, they are also shown at the end of the book following the Index. They will ensure that the text does not stay on an intellectual level but opens new emotional and spiritual experiences for the reader.

The text is supplemented by 57 of the author's drawings. Some of them illustrate the text. Others show figures of various goddesses from different cultural epochs, and the images of different animals that play a role in the book.

Born in 1944 in Kranj, Slovenia, Marko Pogacnik studied sculpting at university and acquired an international reputation in conceptual land art. He has developed this further into earth lithopuncture, which aims at healing disturbed landscapes and power points. He leads seminars in earth healing in several countries and provides advice on landscape matters for communities and businesses. Marko Pogacnik is a lecturer at the Hagia Chora school for geomancy which was founded in 1995.
